The Triumph of the Table by Gio Ponti from the Museo Ginori to Villa Necchi Campiglio
Final two weeks to admire the extraordinary Centerpiece for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Gio Ponti, returned for the first time to its original function in the splendid dining room of Villa Necchi Campiglio.
The exhibition, the result of the joint commitment of Museo Ginori and FAI - Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, is open until January 28, from Wednesday to Sunday.

Thursday, January 25 at 7 pm, on the occasion of the exhibition "Il Trionfo da tavola di Gio Ponti a Villa Necchi Campiglio," FAI - Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano and the Associazione Amici di Doccia dedicate a special evening to the Museo Ginori, inspired by the cookbook Il Quattrova illustrato, with drawings by Tomaso Buzzi and Gio Ponti. The proceeds will be donated to the restoration of a sculpture at the Museo Ginori.

There is time until February 19 to visit the exhibition at Museo Poldi Pezzoli and to focus in particular on the section dedicated to Gio Ponti, introduced by two large cistae designed for the Ojetti family.
Gio Ponti and the Museo Ginori: a book
Thursday, January 18, in the Orangerie of the Museo Poldi Pezzoli, Oliva Rucellai (chief curator of the Museo Ginori) and Marco Sammicheli (director of the Museo del Design Italiano Triennale Milano) will present the catalog “Gio Ponti and the collection of the Museo Richard-Ginori della Manifattura di Doccia.”
The event, organized by the association Amici Museo Poldi Pezzoli Milano in collaboration with the association Amici di Doccia, is reserved for the Friends of the Museo Poldi Pezzoli.
The proceeds from the sale of the volume will be used to restore a ice pail by Gio Ponti that is part of the collections of the Museo Ginori.
