“Ginori Alchemy”: An Online Study Day
On 12 May 2026, the Fondazione Ginori and the MIC – Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza will offer scholars an opportunity to exchange views on the conservation and restoration of Ginori works and on the results of the chemical analyses carried out in connection with the exhibition “Ginori Alchemy 1737–1896. Art and Technique in the Factory.”
On 12 May 2026, the Fondazione Ginori and the MIC – Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza will offer scholars an opportunity to exchange views on the conservation and restoration of Ginori works and on the results of the chemical analyses carried out in connection with the exhibition “Ginori Alchemy 1737–1896. Art and Technique in the Factory.”
As part of the exhibition “Ginori Alchemy 1737–1896. Art and Technique in the Manufactory,” the Fondazione Ginori and the MIC – Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza are bringing together scholars for a discussion on the conservation of Ginori works and the results of the chemical analyses conducted on the occasion of the exhibition.
The study day will take place exclusively online on Tuesday, 12 May, from 9 am to 1 pm, and will be moderated by Museo Ginori curators Oliva Rucellai and Rita Balleri.
The event will be streamed on the @micfaenza YouTube and Facebook channels. Recordings of the talks will subsequently be available on micfaenza.org.
